Asked on every callbackQuestions, answered plainly
The things people ask before they book, in the words we'd use across a kitchen bench. Anything missing, put it in the enquiry form and we'll answer it on the callback.
How do the hourly rates actually work?
Three crews, one rate each: 2 movers and a truck at $250 an hour, 3 and a truck at $350, 4 with two trucks at $500. The clock covers the crew, the truck, the gear and the wrapping. Before you book we tell you which crew fits and how many hours a move like yours usually takes. The long version is in the rates guide.
Why is there no phone number on the site?
We're form-first while our local line is being set up: you send the enquiry, we ring you back. You lose nothing by it; the callback is where the measuring questions happen anyway, and there's no hold music in either direction.
Do you move on weekends?
Yes, and so does everyone else: Saturday mornings and end-of-month windows book first. If your building's lift is only bookable on a weekday, that often turns out to be the calmer, cheaper day anyway.
Who books the lift and the loading dock?
The booking itself has to come from you as the resident, but we tell you exactly what to ask for, and we handle the removalist-side paperwork with your building manager directly. The lift and dock guide walks through the whole thing.
How far ahead should I book?
A couple of weeks is comfortable for most moves; popular windows go earlier. Booked the crew late? Ask anyway. Mid-week and mid-month often have room when the weekend doesn't.
Can you move just one piece?
Yes. Single pieces and part loads ride with the 2-mover crew at $250 an hour, and a piano or a serious stair may size that up. Say what the piece is in the form and we'll bring the right gear.
What happens with fragile or irreplaceable pieces?
Name them in the enquiry. Anything glazed travels wrapped and upright, marble goes on edge, and the piece you're worried about gets its own plan and its own pair of hands. It's the measure-first habit applied to the things that matter most, and it's written down here.
Do you supply boxes and packing materials?
Yes. When we pack for you, cartons, paper and tape are priced as materials alongside the hourly crew. Packing your own? We'll tell you honestly how many cartons a place your size usually takes so you don't over-buy.
Do you do interstate moves?
Yes, quoted per job rather than per hour, and if a backload window suits your dates it can work in your favour. Interstate and backload explains the difference honestly.
Which suburbs do you cover?
The corridor around Burwood station: Burwood, Strathfield, Croydon, Croydon Park, Enfield, Strathfield South, Homebush, Ashfield, Concord, Five Dock and the streets between. The full list, measured from the station.
Is the Measure-Up a quote?
No, and it doesn't pretend to be. It steers you to the right crew and builds your prep list, then hands those answers to the enquiry so the callback starts halfway done. The quote itself, crew, rate and estimated hours, always comes from a person, in writing.
